Addictions & Habits

Are you struggling to let go of something that no longer serves you?

My approach to breaking bad habits and overcoming addictions combines positive neurolinguistic mind-reframing techniques and hypnotherapy. Through this process, I help you develop a stronger belief in the benefits of freedom from whatever is controlling you by focusing on the positive aspects of being free. This eliminates the negative control, allowing you to finally achieve lasting freedom and peace of mind.

Eliminate your FOMO (fear of missing out) and embrace your JOMO (joy of moving on)!

Nicotine

cigarette butts

As someone who originally smoked up to 50 cigarettes a day for over 30 years, I understand how difficult stopping smoking can be.

I use a combination of hypnotherapy and the Benefits Method, which draws from neuro-linguistic programming, cognitive behavioural therapy, and Allen Carr's revolutionary ACE model (now recognised by the WHO—World Health Organisation; NICE—National Institute for Health and Care Excellence; and the British National Health Service) as a highly effective and recommended way to address both the physical and mental elements of addiction.

With these approaches, you can feel reassured that you can finally say goodbye to all forms of nicotine and any notion of feeling deprived or 'missing out,' and say hello to a nicotine-free life.

As a passionate speciality of mine. I use a combination of the NLP Benefits Approach, self-discovery techniques, videos, articles, tips, tricks, educational insights, simple weekly tasks, and, of course, hypnotherapy to guide you toward a life completely and consistently free from alcohol. OTHER AREAS OF HABITS & ADDICTIONS

One of the best definitions I've ever heard, defining the difference between a habit and an addiction, is that a habit is something one can control, whereas an addiction is when a habit has gone out of control, and nor is it restricted to just substances as it is mainly behavioural playing and preying on the belief system. Naturally, this is a very simplified definition, but with that in mind, anything can eventually become an uncontrollable addiction, given the chance.

Naturally, with that in mind, it would be impossible to list everything that is addictive. However...

Other addictive substances could include various foodstuffs, such as:

Sugar, chocolate, junk food, caffeine, certain medications and other legal and illegal substances.

Similarly, we can become addicted to behaviours, such as gambling, shopping, sex, mobile phone/cellphone use, and, increasingly, social media.

NAIL-BITING - HAIR PULLING - TEETH GRINDING - THUMB SUCKING

are other ingrained habits we can address.

YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE AND SO MUCH TO GAIN.
