Freedom From Alcohol

LIVING HAPPILY & PEACEFULLY "ALCOFREE"
If your aim is to eventually break free from alcohol completely and join the ever-increasing 'sober revolution', then you've come to the right place.
The medical and scientific community is pretty much agreed that alcohol is one of the most addictive substances known to humankind, linked to seven different cancers. The World Health Organization classified it as a Group 1 carcinogen in 1988 (the same classification as asbestos and formaldehyde, among others). Also, a recent peer-reviewed study unanimously concluded that there is no safe limit of alcohol.

A 2010 study published in The Lancet authored by English neuropsychopharmacologist Professor David Nutt, then chairman of the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) to the UK government and deputy head of the Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London, explored the relative harms of various substances, concluding that alcohol is the most harmful drug to both society and the individual.

Consume enough alcohol, long enough, and frequently enough, and anyone can eventually become addicted.
It's the only recreational drug we often feel compelled to justify not taking!
Having changed my relationship for good in September 2018, after years of binge-drinking and yo-yoing, I know how challenging it can be. As the quote attributed to Mark Twain says, "Giving up smoking is the easiest thing in the world. I know because I've done it thousands of times," the same could be said for drinking anything with alcohol in it. Putting down that glass, can, or bottle is one thing; keeping it down is the hard part, and where the real work lies.
I share techniques that have supported myself and others in changing their relationship with alcohol. These techniques can help manage cravings and address concerns about deprivation or missing out.
Helping others break free from alcohol is a huge passion of mine. If I get a buzz from seeing others break free, imagine the buzz you will experience!

For your safety and well-being, it's important to note that severe physical dependence on alcohol requires professional medical detoxification.
